Greg and I headed out for a couple days of drifting and rapids including a cold night on the river. We put the boat in at the Pumphouse launch area near Kremmling Colorado. There was some doubt about the weather but it turned into a fantastic 2 days for our first float this season. Snow was plentiful at the higher elevations as well as a few spot along the river, however the day-time temperatures were in the 60’s with lots of sun. This will be a record run off for the snow melt, and we should see some incredible water here in June and July. Our pull out was a place called Ranch del Rio a few miles before state bridge. We tried a bit of fishing.. its been a while for this guy, but I had allot of fun throwing the lure around. Going to have to get a pole this summer!

Went up to Arapahoe Basin to get in some late spring skiing, snow was really quite good for so late in the season, and the weather held out for a few hours for some turns with scoobie doo. Don’t know when A-Basin will be closing, but you will easily be able to ski into July this year… Checked out the new Montezuma Bowl which apparently almost doubled the size of the resort, I will definitely have to return for some powder days next year, should be fantastic!

Happy Birthday Nick! We had a nice little surprise birthday party at Wyman’s here in Denver for Nick who turned 38. As you can see Nick is very happy to have some new reading material for the house thanks to Andrew. Nice job!

A few of us headed up to some place in Louisville Colorado to hear some band I have never heard of before, needless to say it was a good time and the band wasn’t too bad…

Headed up to Winterpark for the last day of skiing with Greg and Sam this last Sunday. Winterpark received over 12″ of new snow the night before then the sun came out for some perfect spring blue sky skiing. Great last day as always and big whitey even got in on the action! Can’t believe they are already closed after getting 30+ inches of new snow this week alone.. it’s going to be one long mud season…

Spring looks to be almost here, I know we will have a few more snow showers in town before it begins in full force, but in the mean time we are enjoying some really nice changes.

Jenni and I escaped for the weekend to Hoth… i mean Steamboat for a couch switching event for our good friends John and Lisa. Was great to wind down and not have to think about work for a few days and having some great mountain views helped:)

Gage and Claire came up from Gainesville for some winter fun and I think they got it! From 2 feet of fresh powder in winter park to 12 mile snowmobiling to a mountain cabin plus two fantastic days at Vail this trip had it all. Was great to get out to the slopes with friends and get some snowy and sunny days in on the ol ski pass, was great seeing you guys hope you had as much fun as I did!
