Pittsburgh in September
Written on September 22, 2008
Jenni and I made a trip to Pittsburgh to visit our friends John and Lisa and to see a bit more of the city in the fall, and we weren’t disappointed! Dinosaurs, great food, superb weather, excellent college football (Pittsburgh University vs. Iowa) and hanging out with friends really brought out the best of Pittsburgh.
Ya that’s a T-Rex, they not only the most complete skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, but the Carnegie Museum of Natural History has TWO of them, pretty impressive. Its definitely a must see experience if you are in town!
Took this image by delaying the shutter speed up on top of Washington Hill overlooking downtown Pittsburgh, you can see the three rivers, downtown, PNC Park in-between the two bridges and the fountain on the point. Great shot! Click on it for more photos.
