Almost Made It

Headed up near Lyons Colorado to run a few trails this last weekend. The first trail run was called Ironclads after the mountain the trail is located on, lots of rocks…

The next trail was really just a road, but very pretty and I guess you call it a “trail” as it was pretty rocky in sections…

4th trail of the day was the St. Vrain trail

Last trail was Coney Flats which was a bit tougher but very fun. Lots of water crossings and some great views! There are two panoramas in this gallery set.

  Hit one of the local trails near Buena Vista for a shakedown run with my new gear, lost power steering, bent all the front steering linkage and bashed in a few body panels.. but nothing serious! Next run will be better…

Finally did a quick run offroad with the Bronco the other day, flexed it’s suspension a bit and it was a good run with the new bumpers! You can check out a few more pics here.

Finally got around to putting the new front bumper and sliders on… looks pretty sweet! The steps on the sliders are removable which are even cooler! Can’t wait to test them out.. they are pretty beefy and solid. You can check out the installation and more pics of the bumpers and sliders here!

Been working on the bronco a bit, I will have to put up a dedicated section on it i think, break down all the work I have done to keep track of progress and what exactly I have completed. It has a few more things happening to it this winter, just got to finish up [...]
